About The Facility
St. Mary's Medical Center is a 371-bed level II Trauma Center, which is located in Langhorne, PA. Established in 1973, the facility employs over 700 physicians, nearly 3,000 colleagues, and over 1,000 volunteers who are committed to providing quality care with respect and compassion.
The hospital has been providing care to generations of families in Bucks County, and nearby communities.
St. Mary's Medical Center is the only state-accredited trauma center in the area that provides the most urgent medical care for both critical injuries, wounds and falls. It provides advanced care across four primary Centers of Excellence - cardiology, oncology, and orthopedics. The facility is located on 53 acres in beautiful Bucks county, St. Mary was founded by the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia. In 2001, St. Mary's transfered to Catholic Health East and in 2013, merged with Trinity Health, a multi-institutional, Catholic health system sponsored by Catholic Health Ministries. Recipient of the America's 100 Best Hospitals award for three consecutive years, the facility offers non-invasive treatments, adult and pediatric emergency services, inpatient medical and rehabilitation facilities, along with supportive health and wellness programs.
