RHEUMATOLOGY, ALLERGY & IMMUNOLOGY

is recruiting a full-time Physician Scientist or Ph.D. Scientist reporting directly to the Chief of Rheumatology, Allergy & Immunology.The selected incumbent will be expected to develop an independent research program supported by extramural funding. Tenure eligible position.Qualifications

PHYSICIAN SCIENTIST:Required Qualifications :MD, DO, MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Board Certified/Eligible in Rheumatology or Allergy&Immunology. Experience in clinical care and clinical, translational or basic research in immunology and inflammatory diseases. Will be responsible for research, patient care and teaching.Preferred Qualifications :Demonstrated publication and active funding track record in clinical, translational, and/or basic research in immunology and inflammatory diseases. The ideal candidate will have exhibited a strong commitment to advancing scientific knowledge in the field of immunology and inflammatory diseases with a strong commitment to clinical, educational, and academic excellence.SCIENTIST:Required Qualifications :PhD, MD, MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent).
