Job Summary:The position will primarily support clinical speech services at the Northwestern University Speech and Language Pathology Clinic on the Chicago campus. As a part of the clinical responsibilities, the individual will be expected to supervise students enrolled in the Speech and Language Pathology program at Northwestern University.Specific Responsibilities

:Providing Speech services to clients and patients of the Northwestern Speech ClinicSupervising student clinicians in the Northwestern University Speech ClinicPerform other related duties as required or assigned.Maintaining CEUs in evidence-bases practiceMaintaining licenseParticipation in Research as needed/assignedMinimum Qualifications: (Education, experience, and any other certifications or clearances)A master's or clinical doctorate degree in Speech Language PathologyValid license to practice speech pathology in the state of Illinois.Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing AssociationMinimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.)Experience in evaluation and treatment of individuals with motor speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders in an acute care hospital environment.Competence in interpretation of videofluoroscopic swallow studies.Familiarity with use of an electronic medical record system.Target hiring range for this position will be between $77,000-$95,000 per year.
