Knowledge@BCG consists of the Knowledge Team (KT), Data & Research Services (DRS) and Knowledge & Collaboration Solution (KCS). KT is a group of experts within respective fields or areas providing industry, functional and geographic expertise to consulting teams. KT members are aligned to Practice Areas, sometimes serving as members of case or project teams. KT offers insight into a topic or function derived from BCG's knowledge base and case/project experience. The members of our DRS team work alongside consulting team colleagues to bring advanced research capabilities to support projects and clients. KCS team is a cross-functional team equipping BCGers with internal and external knowledge resources and digital collaboration tools, enabling them to work smarter and with increased productivityPractice Area
BCG's Insurance Practice serves four industry sectors: Life insurance, Property & Casualty, Commercial & Reinsurance and Health, as well as Insurance brokerage firms. The practice works on the full range of issues of concern to top management, from strategy to operating model redesign, digital transformation, cost, process improvement, risk management strategy, asset management, product development, customer focus, and sales force effectiveness. We have a strong global network and "on-the-ground" experience in all major markets. The Global Practice currently comprises over 200 senior staff and works in Europe, Middle East, the Americas, and Asia Pacific, with a total of 44 insurance active offices worldwide. Our client base is the world's leading global and regional insurance and reinsurance companies and investment and wealth managers. The members of the Insurance Team combine relevant regulatory, technical and analytical know-how with the BCG core competencies: planning, steering and strategy for top management. What You'll DoAs a Lead Knowledge Analyst (LKA) within BCG's Operations Practice Area, you will collaborate and partner in a growing global team, providing functional expertise and insights. You will work together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You'll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues. Additionally, as an LKA you will drive development of intellectual property and knowledge assets to support the Maintenance business, serving as an active contributor to commercialization efforts for the topic, whilst working with business leaders to drive proposals & go-to-market efforts. As an LKA, you may line manage a team of junior colleagues, taking responsibility for their goal setting, ongoing feedback and career development support. The

The Maintenance business comprises an expert network of knowledge team members and experienced consultants who help our clients on specific cases related to the functions and disciplines within the topic (e.g., maintenance strategy, planning & supply chain, maintenance execution, Digitalization/ AI, workforce mgt ). The candidate is expected to have relevant expertise in at least two or more of the following topics: Insource/outsource, Interval strategy, usage-based maintenance, design to maintain, repair & route optimization, lean manufacturing, turnaround, predictive maintenance/AI, frontline workforce productivity, MRO, etc.
What You'll Bring3+ years consulting experience in relevant Maintenance topics required; candidates with consulting experience preferredIn lieu of consulting experience, 4+ years minimum industry experience required; 6-10+ years of industry experience strongly preferredBachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)Expertise in Maintenance and relevant industries (Energy, Vehicle Fleet, Rail – Infrastructure)Fluency in EnglishOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environmentNice to have - US Citizen to work with federal clients
