Electrician - Weekend Days
Friday to Sunday and every other Thursday 5:00am - 5:00pm
The hourly wage for this position is $42.82 to $44.55 plus $1/hr shift differential

What you'll do:
This position will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and PLC components of production lines, facilities, equipment, power systems, etc. in fast paced, high volume manufacturing, packaging, and distribution facilities.
Essential Functions:Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), company policies, safety policies and practices, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Responsible at all times for ensuring that tasks are performed according to food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.Promote a safety culture and awareness while supporting and adhering to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.Follow blueprints and specifications to install electrical wires, cables, and conduit systems.Provide technical support including troubleshooting, machines repairs, PLC's, adjustments, elimination of bottlenecks, machine set-up, change over execution, and running equipment as needed.Coordinate and perform all maintenance activities (PM, work orders, improvement projects, etc.) to effectively balance maintenance activities and production needs.Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and eliminate primary causes of downtime, etc. to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).Assist with facilities maintenance including maintenance and repair of all building and ground support systems.Actively participate in training and certification programs as needed in technical aspects of machinery to include set-ups, changeovers, troubleshooting, etc.Perform other related duties as assigned.What you'll need:High School diploma or equivalent and a valid Washington State electrical certificate or license is required, plus three (3) to five (5) years proven industrial electrician experience in a fast-paced lean manufacturing and distribution environment.Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) and with SAP or CMMS is preferred.Knowledge of industrial controls, sub-stations, motor control centers, power distribution panels, electrical starters, variable frequency drives, and programmable controllers.Allen-Bradley PLC experience and three-phase electrical knowledge.Strong mechanical aptitude including knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC controls, shop math skills, and strong troubleshooting ability.Strong computer skills previous.Ability and the flexibility to work various hours and shifts as needed, especially during large projects, installations, etc.Ability to work at either Washington Plant facility located in Vancouver or Ridgefield, WA as needed, one of which will be primary.Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance, and punctuality.Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and clean room attire; perform moderate physical activity which requires standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day and up to twelve (12) hours per shift and lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds; and perform work onsite in a light industrial environment, including some exposure to non-toxic dust.What we'll offer:Competitive salary including annual bonus & Stock Incentive ProgramComprehensive benefits package along with generous 401KCareer ownership & developmentDiversity & SustainabilityAs a Church & Dwight U.S. employee, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and Paid Parental Leave among other benefits and perks.
