Physical Therapist , applies a variety of therapeutic interventions for improvement of physical or developmental dysfunction, improving safety in the home, reducing hospitalizations, and educating on diagnoses, treatments, resources and equipment. The Physical Therapist Assistant helps coordinate efforts toward discharge goals in mobility and activities of daily living to meet the patients highest level of function. This includes promotion of patient/caregiver ability to self- manage care and through communication with the
Physical Therapist
and other disciplines involved. Is a patient advocate.Qualifications
Associate Degree and educational requirements of Physical Therapist Assistant
and to meet the requirements of Home Health Medicare Conditions of Participation if necessary.One-year experience in supervised clinical practice in acute care or rehab setting preferred.Basic typing competency preferred.Need to have current Basic Life Support,
drivers license as well as auto insurance.Education:* Associate Degree
Credentials:* Physical Therapist Assistant*Current BLS required at time of hireBenefits
