We ask that you have knowledge of security protocols and services. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a fast-growing engineering team of a massively scalable product that has redefined how Security services are delivered.We're looking for an experienced Sr. Manager, Software Development Engineering to join our Core ZIA team. Reporting to the Director of Software Development Engineering, you'll be responsible for:Provide technical leadership in the development and optimization of platforms based on x86 architecture and implement the technical roadmap for platforms, ensuring understanding of our goals.Use your experience in SSL hardware acceleration to enhance the security and performance of our platforms and demonstrate proficiency in BSD/Linux operating systems, ensuring reliable platform implementations and stay up to date with the latest developments in BSD/Linux technologies and incorporate relevant advancements.Collaborate with teams to implement and improve cryptographic solutions and work with engineering teams to enhance platform support for virtualized environments.Guide the adoption and optimization of virtualization technologies, and the growth plans for team members and collaborate with teams, including hardware engineering, software development, and product management, to ensure seamless integration of platform solutions.Lead the engineering team, encouraging a collaborative work environment.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)12+ years of overall experience, with 5+ years of experience in a management role overseeing platform development for networking/security solutions with experience in technical leadership in x86-based architectures.Knowledge of SSL hardware acceleration technologies, BSD/Linux operating systems and their role in platform development.Experience with virtualization technologies and DPDK or similar Kernel bypass techniques.Experience implementing technical roadmaps.Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
