Certification Details ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support BLS - Basic Life Support State License 1 Verification Job Details Electrophysiology Unit RN 40 hrs per week Day shift Late shifts: 1-2 per week. will stay past 5:30 until procedures are done Weekend requirement: none Holiday requirement: possible summer holiday call. Competent to scrub and/or circulate/monitor in ep procedures: multiple ablation types (afib, svt, epicardial vt, pvc, aflutter), devices (icd's, pacemakers, micra's, sicd's) pericardial taps, cardioversions No reassignments 3 EP labs, 1 Procedure room (cardioversion) 1 RN’s and 1 RT/RCIS/RCES per case Hospital provided scrubs Basic Knowledge Assessment Test (BKAT) required for RN’s Job Requirements Electrophysiology competency Basic Knowledge Assessment Test (BKAT) Schedule Information 40 hours per week Day shift 1-2 late shifts per week
