Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a Supervisor of Special Education working District Wide effective on or about January 8, 2025 .
Performance Responsibilities
:
The Supervisor of Special Education provides leadership and support to assigned school buildings and/or special education programs. Specific activities include, but are not limited to the following:Serve as a Chairperson of the CSE and CPSE as applicableMaintain knowledge of current Federal and State laws, regulations, and mandates regarding special educationProvide information to the Director and/or Assistant Superintendent to ensure District compliance with the required NYS reporting systems for special education, including but not limited to STAC, IHO, Medicaid, and ESY.Insure conformance and integrity of District IEPs with federal and state timelines, quality, and procedural requirementsWork with members of the CSE, CPSE and Subcommittees of the CSE regarding collaboration, process, and practices.Work with all parties to resolve special education issues and disputes.Adhere to Board policies and District Code of ConductOther duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education and/or the Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Personnel ServicesSalary:
$115,000-$125,000Reports To:
Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Personnel Services and Director of Special Education
