Job Summary
US Mix Warehouse Workers are responsible for the loading, unloading, stacking and movement of materials in the warehouses. Duties include opening and closing warehouses and gates, reading and following shipping documents, bills of materials and following instructions from the Dispatcher and Plant Management staff. In performance of this work, Warehouse workers will utilize forklifts, pallet jacks and manual labor.
Job Responsibilities
Perform additional facilities cleaning and warehousing duties as assignedIdentify and report safety, discrepancy, and efficiency concernsFollow detailed shipping documents and bills of lading and report any deviations to supervisorLoad and unload materials utilizing power equipment, pallet jacks and manual laborRead and comprehend shipping documents and bills of ladingClean equipment and work areaJob Requirements
High School Diploma or GEDA minimum of 1 year as a Warehouse WorkerForklift Certification PreferredConstant work performed in a manufacturing facility with exposure to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, forklifts and noiseOccasional ability to climb stairs and laddersFrequent ability to lift and gather bags weighing up to 100 lbs.Constant work performed while driving a forkliftConstant good manual dexterity, multi-limb coordination and staminaReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the jobCompensation
