Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and through delegation of assignments by the Nurse House Supervisor, will independently implements the nursing process to provide safe and effective patient care throughout selected/assigned hospital nursing departments (departments).He/she demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized, age-appropriate care to patients served in these departments.Provides break relief and supplemental staffing to RNs working in the Emergency, Medical Surgical/Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing departments.Will be directed, or autonomously go to, any department for which s/he is trained and competent, at any given time to provide nursing support.Patient age range: 0-120 years oldJob Requirements

OVERTIME & BILLING RULES: Any missed meals and breaks must be pre-approved by Supervisor prior to missing and will be paid with proof of approval.Overtime Policy: The overtime rate for any hours worked in excess of 40 hours/week shall be billable at the Regular Hourly Rate plus $10/hr.The holiday rate shall be defined as the Regular Hourly Rate plus $10/hr.The on-call rate shall be defined in the Job Posting.Note: For any 10-hour or 12-hour shifts, the entire shift shall be billed at the All-Inclusive Rate.Housing can be somewhat difficult to find.The facility prefers credentialing be sent in one batch.
