The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIH and CA License.Schedule Information
Shifts: Days 7a - 7:30p; Mids 11a-11:30p, 12p-12:30a, or 2p-2:30a; Nights 7p-7:30a.Weekend Requirement: Every other weekendHolidays: 2 out of 3 major holidaysUnit Specific Information
Unit: ERNumber of beds: 33 Total patient care rooms.Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Routine/typical ER patients; however they send out STEMIs, hemorrhagic strokes & pedsRatios: 1 to 4.They see an average of 210 patientsCharge Nurse: Charge nurse available 24/7Nurse Aides: They use ER Techs that have either EMT, MA, or CNA experience to perform tech duties & EKGs.Scrub Color: Navy blue.Tele: GE. Have central monitor station on both nurses' stationsVents: Per RTHospitalist or Intensivist in house: Could be up to 5 Physicians & 3 midlevels at a timeIV Team: NoRT 24/7: YesPharmacy 24/7: Yes & OmnicellEMR: Cerner experience preferred.Floating: No floating outside of the ERFloor specific orientation: Up to 6 shifts with a preceptorAdditional Details
