Its products are used primarily in industrial manufacturing and distribution environments, including aerospace, water treatment, heavy manufacturing, agriculture, mining, automotive, and logistics. Operating from three manufacturing facilities in the US, Acco provides ready to ship stock products or fully engineered custom devices. Products are sold through distributors, as well as to large direct customers.Job SummaryUtility assembler will assemble, check, and test a variety of mechanical and electrical assemblies for a variety of hoists and hoist related components.Principal Duties and Responsibilities1.
Work with supervisor on setting daily workflow/priorities2.
Read and interpret drawings and wiring diagrams3.
Assemble and wire to specification4.
Maintain highest quality standards - accept no defects, make no defects, pass no defects5.
Communicate any challenges related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP) to supervisor6.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace7.
Innovate and collaborate with peers in your work area
find ways to improve SQDIP8.
Volunteer for overtime as neededPay / Location
Pay Rate is 21.50 to 22.50 depending on experience.

Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings and wiring schematics2.
Required to do mechanical and electrical assembly of hoists, hoist components, and control panels3.
Required to check, test, and trouble shoot hoists or hoist components prior to shipping4.
Required to drive narrow-aisle and industrial fork trucks5.
Required to paint hoists or other components6.
Required to perform shipping department and storeroom duties on an as-needed basis7.
High sense of urgency and strong work ethic8.
Demonstrated ability and passion for high quality output9.
Works well both independently and in a team environmentEducation Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent, technical/vocational school a plusPhysical Demands/Environmental Conditions:Typical manufacturing conditions.
Must be able to lift 35
