Two years of strong Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experienceRecent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)Patient Population: Neuro and Neuro-Surgical patients – CVAs, elective back/neck surgeries, post-op cranis, cerebral angiogramSkillset: NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong Neuro assessements, basic tele interpretation, strict I’s & O’s/straight cath/Foleys, intitate/titrate heparin gtts., blood/blood product administration/venipuncture/blood cultures, NG tubes, indwelling drain managemen, stable gtts. (i.e. Protonix, Lasic, etc.). Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills!Schedule Information
Contract Length: 13 weeksStart: 12/2 or 12/16 - Bi-weekly orientationGuaranteed Hours: 36 (will accept 48 upon request)Primary location: GatewayShift Requirement: 12hr Nights 6:30-7Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday.Unit Specific Information

No local candidates (40 mile radius rule)Float Requirement: First to float within skillset. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/ACovid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to change
