Senior Vice President of Marketing Strategy
Reports to: Executive Vice President of Marketing
Job Overview:
This senior leadership role is responsible for the overall marketing strategy for OMNIA Partners. The person in this role will manage a team of marketers and work closely with other senior leaders across the business to build the go-to-market strategy within each key customer vertical. The SVP of Marketing Strategy will be directly responsible for identifying target segments and buyer personas, building research-based positioning and messaging, and marketing channel mix decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a range of experience across B2B sales, product and marketing functions, with proven expertise in GTM management, product marketing and demand generation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
GTM Leadership:
Partner closely with SVPs of sales to research, analyze and prioritize growth opportunities for the company, utilizing internal and external data from various primary and secondary research.Customer Revenue Growth:
Through customer analytics, identify opportunities to grow contract utilization (cross-sell) within our existing accounts.Marketing Planning:
Collaborate with other marketing leaders to translate GTM priorities into defined marketing plans and ensure strong execution on campaigns and tactics.Competitive Intelligence:
Systematically monitor and assess competitors to identify growth opportunities and potential threats to our growth plans.Brand Positioning:
Engage regularly with customers to understand their wants, needs and expectations. Use those insights to continually evolve OMNIA Partners' brand positioning and messaging; and translate corporate positioning into vertical and buyer specific value propositions.Team Leadership:
Invest time and effort into educating and coaching marketing staff to build world-class marketing/GTM talent in the organization.ROI Analysis: Track a variety of key growth metrics and marketing KPIs to continually improve marketing and sales investments. Provide regular reports and improvement plans to the Executive Leadership Team.Training/Skills/Experience:
(Minimum relevant work experience for successful job performance.)
15+ years in B2B GTM leadership, ideally in consulting or product marketing roles for financial services and/or technology companies.Analytical and math-oriented marketer with an investor mindset - proven ability to craft clear growth plans and make marketing budget decisions based on data and ROI analysis.Proven management skills and the ability to delegate work, orchestrate work across multiple people and teams and develop talent.Experience working directly with sales and operations teams to drive growth planning.Ability to craft powerful value proposition and ensure consistency of message across all channels.Demonstrated ability to discuss and present on growth strategies with CEOs and Boards of Directors at large, PE-backed companies.Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related fieldMaster's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration highly preferred
*This role will be based at our Franklin, TN headquarters. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Nashville area.
