As a Data Scientist, you will be expected to create innovative solutions to solve business problems by using machine learning (ML), statistical modeling and optimization techniques and turning them into real world solutions for decision making. You will design algorithms that solve business critical problems for the world's largest risk and compliance platform. You will see your contributions make a material impact to business culture. Analyze large sets of Risk and Compliance data to understand core domain behaviorDesign, develop, train, validate, deploy and monitor ML modelsDevelop a clear and complete plan of action through collaboration, probing, reflecting, and summarizing of the solutionElaborate on alternative product configurations, platforms, and implementation issuesParticipate in various training opportunities to provide innovative solutionsAnalyze risks and benefits of various approaches to solve technical problemsCommunicate problems to appropriate stakeholders when necessary, understanding who to bring in for assistanceUnderstand upstream and downstream dependencies and connections of a problem between applications and platformsCollaborate with other data scientists and team members to ensure the seamless integration of data-driven insights into our products and servicesWhat you'll need:

Master's degree in Data Science, Applied Economics, Statistics, or STEM field with sufficient overlap in explanatory analysis, predictive modelling, data treatments and coding5+ years' experience as a data scientist or other predictive modelling with specialization in ML, statistical modelling and optimizationStrong knowledge of predictive modelling, statistics and data science in general, with an interest in continuing educationExperience with ML methods including transformer-based models, deep neural networks, reinforcement learning, adversarial learning, decision tree-based models, and/or classical modelsExperience interacting with large language models and building model pipelines preferredDesired experience in visualization tools (i.e.ggplot, d3.js, Matplottlib)Proficiency in Python and either Spark or SQLKnowledge of data manipulation and analysis tools (i.e. Pandas, NumPy)Familiarity with ML frameworks (i.e. TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn)Ability to drive results through your job competencies of decision making, technical aptitude and technical problem solvingAbility to drive results through NAVEX core competencies of accountability, customer focus, drives results and instills trustOur side of the deal:

Every team member is required to have a career plan in place, to be reviewed with their manager after six months in our team.The starting pay for this role is $140,000 per annum with 5% MBO.Pay progression based on your performance.
