Hiring now: Full or Part-time school-based SLP in the DMV area!
We are seeking Full-time or Part-time Speech Language Pathologists in-person for school-based assignments in the DMV,
to join our team in treating and assessing school-based needs.
Celebrations Speech Group is a private practice and NPA (Non-public agency) with decades of experience providing quality speech services in pediatrics. We offer a team approach grounded in education and practice as a result of a life-long commitment to continuing education and excellence in service delivery to children with special needs in schools, homes, and in-clinic. We have statewide openings in the DMV, for a dedicated Speech Therapist to join a vibrant SLP team. Your caseload will be fun and diverse. You will evaluate patients and provide treatment in a school setting. Clinical Fellows are absolutely welcome and will thrive here! Out-of-state applicants relocation assistance up to $3,000 provided if eligible.
Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based therapy plans, goals, and treatment for speech/language disorders. Evaluate and implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders. Provide direct therapy. Write clinical SOAP notes. Attend and write IEPs. Provide supervision for a CF or SLPA if needed or as appropriate. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications:
Current SLP License for D.C., MD, or VA. Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders. CFY's accepted and encouraged to apply. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred. Familiarity with communication disorders. Ability to build rapport with patients and clinical staff. Ability to build rapport with school teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management skills, commitment, and organizational skills. Compensation:
