Position Summary

We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Tax Partner to join our Atlanta team during this pivotal time of growth. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in tax structuring, due diligence, and consulting for mergers and acquisitions. This role is integral to advising our clients on complex transactions while fostering the development of our TAS practice and team.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic tax planning, structuring, and due diligence for clients involved in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex transactions.Lead and manage client engagements, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables aligned with client objectives.Serve as a trusted advisor, offering forward-thinking solutions to mitigate risks and maximize transaction value.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional advisory services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including audit and consulting, to deliver seamless client service.Stay ahead of evolving tax regulations and transaction trends to provide cutting-edge insights and advice.Mentor and develop a team of professionals, building a culture of excellence and collaboration.Contribute to the growth of the TAS practice through business development, networking, and strategic initiatives.Qualifications

Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in public accounting or a professional services firm, with a focus on tax advisory for transactions.Deep knowledge of M&A tax regulations, transaction structuring, and due diligence processes.Proven ability to lead and manage complex client engagements and teams.Strong business acumen and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and sustain client relationships.Track record of successful business development and growth initiatives.
