Job Description

An R&D Software Engineer will be building, maintaining, enhancing and supporting our fertility clinic and laboratory products. This position requires a high level of technical expertise focused on delivering secure and reliable products and services to our clinics and patients. You will be a key member of the development team, ensuring the highest level of code quality and scalability. You will work, under supervision, collaboratively to architect and implementation solutions within the team, as well as being a strong individual contributor to help produce quality code.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:Design and development of new features and enhancements for existing applications, as well as new products to meet the ever-evolving needs of our business.Deliver high quality code.Work with our application specialists and support staff, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues from the field.Work within the team to improve existing codebases, replace legacy technology, and reduce technical debt.Apply software development best practices, standards, architectural and security considerations.As business needs dictate, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime.#LI-CN1

Experience and proficiency in C#, .NET, .NET Framework (legacy), Entity Framework, SQL, C, C++, C#Strong expertise in unit testing and test-driven development (TDD)Strong interpersonal and effective communication skillsA deep passion for remaining at the forefront of technology, continuous learning, and professional grAdvanced knowledge of DevOps, Git, automated testing and continuous integrationAn outcome-focused mindset, with a strong emphasis on process discipline, and a relentless drive for timely project completionWork Environment:

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $72,000 - $121,000. The actual base pay includes many factors, and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
