Class A CDL with tanker, hazmat and airbrakes required.
Job Summary
Hauling oil field chemicals between TX and NM. Follows all DOT/FMCSA regulations.
Essential Duties -
other duties as assigned
Maintain driver's logs, according to DOT regulationsFollow all SOP's (standard operating procedures)Follow all FMCSA regulationsComplete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipmentProperly load and secure, and unload trucks (tanker and flatbed)Accurately complete bills of lading (BOL's) and other reports according to company policyMaintain accurate inventory reports according to company policyTimely completion of reports and documentationWork well independently and as a teamProvide excellent customer service
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
High school graduate or GED. 1-3 years in oil and gas industry preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 100 pounds, tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily climbing, standing, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, walking, driving and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin.
Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
Work Environment
- Indoors and outdoors, with exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme winter weather, precipitation and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil and gases. Employee will be subject to road conditions found throughout the Bakken. Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, interpret and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDS's), operating instructions and procedure manual. English language fluency in reading, writing and speaking.
Computer Skills
- Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, electronic timesheets and programs such as OneNote for recording daily deliveries.

- Be trustworthy, dependable, respectful, and truthful with a commitment to safety and excellent customer service. Follow policies and procedures and take responsibility for your own actions.
