Piper Companies is seeking a

Embedded Engineer

(Raleigh) for a company that enables software solutions across a wide variety of Datacenter, Service-Provider and Enterprise products. You would join committed and passionate engineers working on core networking/fabric technologies. (open to Remote East Coast)

Responsibilities of the Embedded Engineer:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in order to assist with new features, issues, and customer support for the open-source serverParticipate in the design, implementation, support, documentation, and testing of the clients and the serverManage the strategic development of new and existing pluginsComfortable working with infrastructure and containersQualifications of the Embedded Engineer:

1 - 2 years of Embedded/hardware experienceStrong development experience using C++Strong experience with Software Device DrivenPreferred experience with firmware and kernelStrong familiarity with Linux and the command lineBachelor's Degree is requiredMust hold U.S. citizenship or green card visa.(Bonus) Experience with scripting languages (Python preferred) or relational databases (SQL)

Compensation:

$60,000 - $80,000
