Duties:
Assess the functional capabilities of children ages 0-3 relative to their age-appropriate milestones for potential developmental delays or developmental risk factors.Provide individual home-based and virtual services for a caseload of families with a wide range of racial backgrounds, cultures, religions, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity and abilities with understanding of how their life experiences may be impacted by social determinants.Collaborate with the family to develop goals to address the child's development that fit into their daily routines and play.Teach and coach caregivers to integrate strategies into the family's daily routines to aid in the child meeting major developmental milestones.Continuously assess the progress of your clients and collaboratively adjust the plan as needed.Consult and partner with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Nurses and Social Workers.Ensure that all events and documentation are completed within the program's required timelines.Requirements:
Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in Massachusetts.Valid driver's license and ability to provide own transportation to appointments.CPR and first aid certifications or be willing and able to become certified.
