As our EHSS Supervisor you’ll design and implement impactful health, safety, and environmental programs, championing a proactive, zero-accident culture. You’ll work collaboratively with HR and management to support safe return-to-work practices, oversee OSHA compliance, and empower employee-led safety initiatives.
Responsibilities:Champion safety culture with zero accident mentalityActively co-manage with HR and managers the return-to-work program and associated workers compensation claims for work related injured temporary and full-time Aspire employeesIntegrate and manage written Safety programs, policies and procedures that comply with legal and Aspire corporate policies and guidelinesDevelop a strong relationship and facilitate employee-led behavior-based safety process in a team-based environmentConduct regular safety audits, identify and evaluate hazards in the workplace and recommend solutions to minimize or eliminate risk.Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement in all areas of safety. Lead accident investigations and maintain all OSHA reportingSupport all accident and near miss investigations to uncover root cause and track completion of corrective actions.Track, analyze and report safety performance results.Follow through with respective department managers and employees on all safety-related suggestions and feedbackCoordinate and conduct emergency drills and training exercisesLead 100% completion of Safety and Environmental calendar itemsLead Bakery Safety Training Programs to ensure complianceOther duties as assigned.
Qualifications:High school Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree in safety or advanced certification preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years comprehensive safety experience with an extensive background in manufacturing environment preferably food industryAbility to flex to work all hours, shifts as well as weekends as neededUse a computer more than 25% of total work timeExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsMS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Bilingual preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.
