Job Title: Interventional Radiologist/Cardiologist Job Specialty: Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Services Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00), Monday-Friday Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years in a STEMI/PCI facility License: Ohio License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT Must-Have: - ARRT in hand at the time of submission (will accept RCIS if well experienced) - Must be STEMI ready to apply - IABP and Impella training - Epic charting experience preferred Job Description: - On-call responsibilities: One night/week and every 5th weekend - Handle a daily census of 25-30 patients - Work in a unit with 7 rooms, dealing primarily with adult and geriatric patients - Perform Interventional Radiology/Angio/Special Procedures: Stents, Angioplasty, Angiograms, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis - Requirement to float to EP as needed if Cath Lab/IR cases are low - Handle both inpatient and outpatient settings - Conduct IV Starts and EKGs proficiently - Adhere to COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements, with medical/religious exemptions only - Participate in a 13-week contract including two weekends, Friday 6 pm-Monday 7 am, and one night each week, with one holiday on-call if applicable - Complete a basic Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam if needed - Fingerprinting required for specified clinical units - Complete orientation with 4 non-billable hours Note: Travel pairs are acceptable to submit if not related; related candidates can work in the same facility but not the same unit. All travelers are expected to float within facilities as needed.
