GI/Endo Tech position available.There are 2 suites in the Endoscopy/GI Lab.Typical workload is 15-18 Patients per day, spread over 1 Admit RN, 1 Recovery RN, and 1 Procedure RN.Required Duties include admitting patients for GI procedures, Phase II recovery from propofol sedation, documenting RN/Assist with procedures.Common Cases include colonoscopy, EGD's.Job Requirements
IV skills, admit/discharge experience.Prior Epic experience.Minimum 2 years Endo/GI lab experience.Must be trained in scope reprocessing/high-level disinfection.General endo skills required for Banding, EGD, ERCP, Dilations.Schedule Information
Shifts are 06-1630, 0630-1700, 07-1730, with 10-hour shifts and staggered start times.Limited call on weeknights.Contract dependent weekend and holiday call requirements.60-minute response time for calls.No mandatory call/standby requirement, but voluntary call availability.Unit Specific Information
Techs or nurse aids are present in the department.No RT Equipment such as vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc.Additional Details
Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs are provided.Orientation is department-specific, with the length depending on the comfort level of the traveler.
