The BA role will be a critical part of the Advisor Experience and New Ways of Working (NWOW) at Equitable, working closely with the Team Lead using an Agile methodology / NWOW principles. The role will support the Advisor Experience team by analyzing data, reporting production numbers, and assisting in the development of strategic initiatives to drive growth. This role is ideal for someone with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or activities.

They will collaborate with team members to help achieve team mission and OKRs under a test-and-learn culture that entails MVP delivery, innovation, frequent engagement with customers and stakeholders, and continuous iteration

Key Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members to help achieve mission OKRs

Execute on Backlog by using NWOW principles and practices.

Build a strong sense of collaboration and transparency in the team.

Have an open mind to experiment to learn by constantly build hypothesis to test with customers.

Challenge the “status quo” by testing assumptions and asking questions.

Analyze sales and market and client data to provide actionable insights.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on data analysis.

Maintain and update the branch monthly goals report.

Assist team by providing production numbers for training qualifications.

Prepare detailed production reports on a branch and complex level.

Provide teams with monthly production numbers and sales insights.

Complete ad hoc field requests for client counts, YoY info, and unit information.

Assist in the development and implementation of business development strategies in partnership with sales team & RBG leadership.

Support the team in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities based on market share, hiring trends and legislative tailwinds.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product development.

Assist in the preparation of presentations, training content and other business development materials.

Client Communication Support: Support the business in reviewing client communications and provide feedback to product team.

The base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $85,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree - Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

Strong analytical and research skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Mastery of Excel to include creating formulas, pivot tables, and graphs.

Experience executing in an Agile environment

Self-starting with ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a demanding environment

Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills to all levels of the organization

Ability to drive the adaption of NWOW / Agile practices and conduct Ceremonies: daily huddle, sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint demo

Ability to adopt the Agile mindset and behaviors, as outlined below

Creativity and ability to think outside the box

Proven experience with influencing change though leveraging agile, adaptive leadership models and change management

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the financial or insurance industry is preferred but not required

Up to 2 years of experience in business development, market research, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Data Gathering and Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques and processes; ability to gather and analyze data on the learning needs of a target population.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Process Mapping/Flowcharting: Knowledge of the concepts of process mapping; ability to carry out the documentation of current and proposed manufacturing processes to identify and make improvements.
