General Surgery Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
Cheshire Medical Center - Keene, NH
The Department of General Surgery at Cheshire Medical Center is seeking anAdvanced Practice Registered Nurseto join our team. This person will join a collaborative team of Physicians and Advance Practice Providers to provide care for our surgical patients in the outpatient and inpatient settings.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team providing the following:
Perform outpatient pre-operative evaluation and management to help ensure patients are optimized for surgery
Perform post-operative care for general surgery patients
Work together with members of our Breast Care Team providing care and counseling to patients within our Accredited Breast Care Center
Work as a member of the Acute Care Surgical Team, including inpatient rounding, consultations, formation of treatment plans, admissions and discharges

Minimum Qualifications
Requirements for Nurse Practitioners:
2+ years of experience preferred; new grads welcome
RN and APRN currently (or eligible) licensed in NH
Successful completion of an approved NP program and certification is required
Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
BLS certification
