Position Overview

International Procurement is offering you an exciting opportunity to work in a truly international environment and be part of the journey to actively shape the Procurement’s training and education landscape of tomorrow.
As the future Procurement Training Manager, your main focus will be on the further development of our existing training and education program. While working in our team you will also support the Procurement Process Team in other selected business process related topics and thus continuously expand your knowledge of Procurement and Process Management (more details see below).
Responsibilities
Training & Education responsibilities (80%):
• Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual reviews and consultation with supervisors• Creating an overall or individualized training and development plan that meets needs and expectations• Apply a wide range of training methods• Conducting effective induction and orientation/onboarding programs• Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness, success of training programs and report accordingly• Managing the training budget and other relevant training related KPIs• Solving specific problems and adjusting training programs as needed• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of training trends, developments and best practices• Close cooperation with the international training academy• Leverage synergies within the VW or TRATON group• Support the Procurement process team as needed in other
Process Management responsibilities (20%):
• Documenting, evaluating, and standardizing existing business processes by involving relevant business stakeholders• Determining and outlining root cause-based business process improvements• Coordinating business process improvement strategies with internal and cross functional stakeholders• Fostering cooperation within the TRATON network and coordinating / leading of cross-brand activities to harmonize and optimize core Procurement processes.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree
At least 5 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
1 year lead experience
OR
Master's degree
At least 3 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
1 year lead experience
OR
At least 8 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
1 year lead experience
Additional Requirements
Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
Desired Skills
• Proven professional experience as a training / education manager• Track record of designing and executing successful training programs• Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or direct training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.)• Excellent communication and leadership skills• Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively• High level of independence and self-responsibility• Strong writing and documentation skills regarding reports and training manuals• Experience working as a process manager is an advantage • Experience in an international project management / intercultural competence is an advantage• Experienced user with standard MS office applications.
