- you can be the one to tell the world!All interested, qualified candidates must submit a cover letter, resume, and two writing samples in a single PDF documentThe Marketing and Communications Manager designs and produces a variety of digital and print marketing collateral, oversees all social media planning, schedules agency-wide communications, and manages the JCC brand-building efforts. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker and problem solver, with stellar interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Promote JCC programs and events through the creation, production, and distribution of diverse print and digital collateral
Manage the Springfield JCC’s social media channels; implement tactics to increase the number of followers, deepen engagement, and drive increased traffic to the website
Strengthen relationships with local organizations and community partners for enhanced outreach and cross-promotion
Produce high-quality email newsletters, flyers, and other communications vehicles for general membership and key constituencies
Develop and oversee the organization's calendar of both internal and external communications
Cultivate relationships with local media and respond to informational requests
Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing and communications strategies
Participate in annual budget planning and develop a comprehensive 12-month marketing plan
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
5+ years of professional marketing and communications experience
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented leadership and consensus building skills
Ability to set and communicate clear goals and prioritize the most cost-effective use of resources
Understanding of effective digital content (SEO, online ads, etc.), including Google analytics
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop, and Canva
Proven experience with managing digital e-marketing platforms
Proficient photography and video skills
Proven ability to develop project schedules and manage deadlines
Commitment to the mission of the Springfield JCC and working knowledge of the Jewish community, practice, and traditions
Experience working in a nonprofit and/or educational institution preferred
