Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing data science strategy and implementation efforts.
Remaining engaged with the broader data science community through keeping up to date with the latest breakthroughs in research and industry, to incorporate new data science tradecraft into areas of responsibility as needed.
Serving as the data science authority within assigned projects and programs.
Overseeing the development of new models and/or optimizing existing models across datasets that include, but aren't limited to, text, speech, images, and video.
Supervising and mentoring subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM field and 9 years of position-relevant work experience.
DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 7 years of position-relevant work experience.
Vendor tool certifications appropriate to project requirements; e.g., Oracle and Mongo.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
