Job Overview:
The Business Analyst collaborates closely with merchandising, marketing, E-Commerce, and Retail Operations teams. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and interpreting business data to drive strategy, execute promotions, and manage essential system data. The Business Analyst will primarily focus on identifying growth opportunities, enhancing product performance, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Identify strategic opportunities aligned with competitive strategy and positioning.
Drive sales and margin growth by analyzing product performance and recommending improvements.
Conduct and present in-depth analysis of category and industry trends to leadership.
Serve as the primary analytical resource within Merchandising.
Create and distribute promotional signage.
Update data for item maintenance, cost adjustments, and retail price changes.
Execute promotional strategies and manage planogram and store layout implementations.
Ensure high attention to detail and apply critical thinking in all analyses.
Approach work with a strategic orientation and drive for results.
Act as a self-starter and collaborative team player.
Effectively synthesize and communicate complex data concepts.
Generate actionable insights that contribute to business growth and change.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, mathematics, analytics, or a related field
Pricing experience in corporate retail or finance is preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access) and SQL
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Skilled in data analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting
