About The Role:
As a CBRE Portfolio Strategy Manager, you will manage a team responsible for providing workplace advice to corporate occupiers of commercial real estate.
This job is part of the Client Consulting function. They are responsible for Advisory services in relation to real estate operations and investments.
What You'll Do:
Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
Drive partnerships and cross-marketing efforts with internal lines of business. This includes Brokerage, Capital Markets, Project Management, Facilities Management, and other company divisions.
Contribute to strategic plans for optimizing clients' small to medium property portfolios. Evaluate real estate location data and guide clients on planning.
Work with clients on adopting flexible ways of working. Optimize work styles and workplace relationships.
Train occupiers through change management. Educate on new ways of working and aligning business management to adopt change. Coach how to evaluate the effect of the workplace on performance.
Collaborate across practice areas. This includes shared business development resources, assignment staffing, and marketing approaches.
Ensure compliance with policies. This includes include fee sharing, licensing requirements, subcontractor liability, and more.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues that may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Portfolio Strategy Manager position is $125,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $170,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
