Lantana Recovery provides intensive clinical and therapeutic services to adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders in a licensed, outpatient facility. Lantana Recovery offers holistic Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programming, including clinical psychoeducational programming, group and individual therapy, recovery activities, and interventions designed to assist the client in initiating and sustaining a meaningful recovery. Services are provided with client-centered and family-centered approaches and are delivered through intensive, time-limited, goal-specific interventions.The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner provides assistance with Medical leadership when necessary to achieve the facilities mission and objectives in collaboration with corporate goals and objectives. Has knowledge of the organization and function of the facility and assists with medical-related activities within Facilities in the State, in accordance with standards of State and Federal regulations.
Responsibilities include:
Works collaboratively with Clinical Staff, and medical personnel on staffAdheres to and ensures facility policies and procedures.Abides by all safety/risk, infection control, and other guidelines as requiredAssists in ensuring State and Federal regulations and Joint Commission standards are met and maintainedProvide counseling to patients about medication managementAbility to diagnose illness and to refer patients to specialists when appropriateParticipates in Medical meetingsWorks with key clinic and administrative staff regarding matters of program development and major policy issuesProvide on-call coverage to coordinate any medical or psychiatric needs of PatientsPerforms psychiatric evaluation and History and Physicals for patients admitted to all levels of careEnsure completion of medical progress noteAssures appropriateness for recertification of patients for continuing servicesPossess good working relationships with other health care professionals, physicians, and psychiatric staffInfection control OfficerComplete H&P assessments and evaluations of clientsPrescribe medication in an effort to reduce mental health and physical symptoms, as neededComplete documentation within the established timelineReview and approve individualized treatment plans and assessmentsConsult with the Medical Director and staff on clients, programs, and servicesProvide clients with outside referrals as needed
Qualifications include:Graduated from an accredited Nursing School, is a licensed Psych Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)Licensed to practice in the state of practice.Have at least two (2) years experience working with substance use/dual diagnoses.Demonstrate passion and compassion for client care.Proficiency in modern EMR.Exemplary documentation skills.Familiarity with DHEC and The Joint Commission requirements.Job Type: 1099 Contract with potential to go full time
