Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cyber Risk Analyst to support our IT/cyber risk team. This role is essential in providing operational support, driving metrics and reporting, and assisting with the preparation of presentations. The successful candidate will split their time equally between providing metrics/ reporting and associated insights and administrative support to the Chief Information Risk Officer / Chief Information Security Officer.
You will:
Assist in managing the schedules of team (especially CIRO/CISO), including coordinating meetings, arranging agendas, and tracking deadlines.
Support document management processes, ensuring compliance with internal protocols for storing and handling sensitive information.
Process purchase orders, manage expense reports, and assist with budgeting for risk-related initiatives.
Serve as a point of contact for internal inquiries, routing requests and escalating as needed.
Collect, analyze, and report on cyber risk metrics, producing period reports for senior management and stakeholders within Cyber and IT Risk.
Develop presentations for internal and external audiences, effectively visualizing data and summarizing complex cyber risk insights.
Participating in risk assessments activities, contributing insights from data analytics and assisting in project tracking.
Maintain and update dashboards to track risk trends and the impact of mitigation strategies.
You have:
Preferred bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, business or related field or equivalent experience.
0-2 years Job/intern experience in risk analysis, cybersecurity, or similar role within a corporate environment.
Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau) and presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint).
Critical thinking and analysis skills
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred experience in supporting risk management functions within a finance or corporate risk setting.
Location:
Two days a week at a Guardian office in New York, NY or Stamford, CT.
Salary Range
$79,790.00 - $119,682.50
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
