Citi’s US in-house creative agency is looking for a Digital Designer to help strengthen a growing UX/UI team and elevate digital user experiences for mobile and web.

Client Advocate – Approaching projects with the needs of the internal client partner at the front of the mind.
Continuous learner / Influencer – Curious and constantly learning design trends/enhancements that set our digital communications apart.
Collaborative Partner – Partnering with internal team members to drive creative thought and with client partners to harness insights and develop solutions that are best for the customer and align with our client's mission.
Brand Strategist – Maintaining a keen eye and strategizing the most effective methods of implementing brand guidelines to ensure a consistent look and feel that promotes our client's core principles.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the in-house agency is to provide their partners with innovative and dynamic assets that adhere to brand guidelines, the client's central messaging and ADA compliance.
This Digital Designer is specifically responsible for:
Designing a variety of deliverable types and marketing assets (e.g., landing pages, web banners, digital platforms, etc.) in keeping with Citi’s mission and values and customer experience at the forefront.
Developing eye-catching digital display ads that launch on third-party sites, designing concepts, and using specialized software to create HTML5 assets.
Leveraging Figma to develop design systems that are innovative and align to the overarching brand guidelines.
Rapidly conceptualizing user experiences using a component library that will deploy through Adobe Experience Manager.
Owning creatives throughout the lifecycle of the job (from concept through release).
Implementing comprehensive guidelines into deliverables to ensure 100% ADA compliance.
Brainstorming in a team setting to continually improve creative application and overall procedure.
Collaborating with client partners to achieve strategic, innovative, and digitally driven communications.
Reflecting core principles of curiosity and boldness in your approach to projects and demonstrating a determination to achieve a successful conclusion.
Presenting your work during internal reviews and client presentations, providing sound research, and citing best practices to explain your architecture, design, and interaction decisions.
Qualifications:
Portfolio Requirement: Must have a rich online portfolio (listed on resume) showcasing a diverse range of digital work, especially in web design, display ads and motion graphics.
4-6 years of experience as a UX or Digital Designer.
Experience or exposure to UX Design methodology preferred.
A BA or higher in design or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Software Mastery: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator), and required proficiency in Figma and FigJam.
HTML5/Google Web Designer: Required experience in HTML5 and Google Web Designer for motion ads.
Coding Knowledge: Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a huge plus.
CMS Familiarity: Understanding of CMS platforms like Adobe Experience Manager and the ability to design effectively for CMS implementation.
A proven history of design fundamentals (including typography, color theory, brand adherence, and critical thinking about creative application).
Knowledge of ADA compliance as it pertains to digital deliverables.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly and effectively discuss projects.
Successful experience partnering with internal clients and external developers.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to keep track of multiple concurrent job statuses (experience with workflow tools is a plus), meet project deadlines, and adhere to a process calendar.
Ability to successfully communicate and collaborate with local and remote team members.
Mac literacy
Must have agency experience.
