The Real Estate Portfolio Operations Regional Manager will serve as a real estate client relationship manager supporting UHG facilities, which include office, clinical and other healthcare (patient facing) assets. This role will focus on supporting day to day operations and coordination with local site and market level operations customers. Across 500 locations, this role will ensure client satisfaction against delivery of facility management services (150K+ work orders annually) and small project execution (300 projects and $50M+ in capital/expense projects annually). This role will interface with occupants of properties and develop relationships to bolster overall support by the Real Estate team. This role ensures performance and execution of real estate outcomes and standards. This role supports programmatic, cross-enterprise strategies on asset management, compliance, etc.

Primary Responsibilities:
Establish trusted advisor relationships with local and market clinic care delivery leadership
Serve as a consultant and primary contact for operations and small project execution
Financial management of the portfolio, specifically on operating expenses and small project capital
Facilitate business approvals on discretionary expenses and small capital project
Quality assurance and performance management oversight of FM and small projects
Management of the communications channel between local/sub-regional leaders, UHG Real Estate and service providers
Effectively communicate the financial impact of Real Estate decisions in business terms
Collaborate effectively with Real Estate Partners and assigned business and finance leaders
Facilitate issue resolution to enable a high credibility factor between business, UHG Real Estate and service providers
Establish solid understanding of managed clinic portfolio, infrastructure, capital plan and overall site strategy
Set meeting agendas and successfully support fact-based decision process
Support real estate change management efforts within customer business units

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of work experience in Facilities Management, Property Management, Project Management, or general real estate within healthcare
Financial and budget management experience
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to interact and communicate with a variety of levels within a large, matrixed organization
Proven flexible in creative thinking and problem-solving ability
Demonstrated ability to use critical thinking and provide fact-based decisioning support
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare real estate experience in clinical and/or other patient facing facility environments
Experience in a role which required knowledge of the environment of care and understanding of the dynamics of the patient and provider experience within a healthcare facilities setting

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $104,700 to $190,400 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
