3 must haves:
AA/AS or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; and a minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experiencePrevious experience or knowledge of 3 phase 480v single phase 120v PLC knowledge or experience is a plus Own basic personal hand toolsExperience driving a forkliftKnowledge of shop equipment usageKnowledge of portable tools: Angle grinders, skill saws, and reciprocating saws
Must be able to complete the client's onboarding process along with being medically certified to wear a respirator
Job Summary:Plans layouts, installs, and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment by performing the following dutiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:• Makes necessary repairs and performs preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance on a wide variety of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Servos, Networks, and other I/O devices.• Maintain, install, repair and troubleshoot the following devices:o Safety relays, safety controllers, light curtains, safety locks.o Servo-Drives and Servomotors.• Plans new or modified installations from written or verbal directions to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.
