Volt is hiring an Industrial Electrician for our client in Greater Peoria, IL. Our client is an industry leader in automation and is expanding to include an individual with passion for new development, and problem solving.

As an Industrial Electrician, you will have:Proven experience in electrical assembly, specifically in machinery or industrial equipmentStrong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standardsKnowledge in routing electrical cablesKnowledge in proper grounding methodsFamiliar with 480V AC and 24V DC circuitsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDetail oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift heavy objects (30 lbs.) and stand for long periodsCapable of performing manual dexterity tasks and working in confined spaces
Estimated Duration: 6+ months
This is a full-time, Contingent opportunity.
The Ideal Candidate will:Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawingsInstall electrical components and systems in machinery according to specificationsWire control panels and connect machinery to power sourcesField Wire components and route cablesPerform electrical troubleshooting and repairs during the assembly processCollaborate with machine builders and engineers to ensure proper integration of electrical systemsConduct routine testing and inspections to verify electrical functionality and safetyMaintain documentation of electrical installations and modificationsCreate custom cables including soldering/crimping connectorsAdhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Pay Rate: $33-35.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
