Job Title: Quality Lab Technician III

Responsibilities Analytical & physical lab testing: HPLC, titrimeter, colorimeter, density, viscosity, etc.Conducting GMP and Process Audits in the production and storage areas of the plantPerform data entry into the various Quality System databasesResponsible for reporting monthly summaries of Quality system functionsPresent training in Quality subjects to new and existing employeesReview on-line HACCP and MCP log sheets to assure compliance with company policiesMust be able to work overtime and weekendsSupport Analytical and Quality Assurance programSupport routine maintenance and troubleshooting of lab equipment

RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS This position requires a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervisionCandidates must demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsA proven ability to manage multiple projects while performing everyday tasks is essentialCandidates must possess a strong commitment to Quality and Customer Service

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCES Previous lab or food safety/quality department experienceExperience in a food plant in the areas of manufacturing, sanitation, or quality assuranceA proven work record of attendance and performanceAbility to learn and execute physical and chemical analyses required for this positionAbility to compile, retrieve data, and report results on GMI standard data collection systems and Microsoft ExcelWorking knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook
