Qualified candidates will have aBachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in Project Management with commercial and/or industrial and/or institutional construction projects, preferably in the $25 million+ range. Experience with CPM scheduling, preferably P6, BIM, and contract and document management software. Experienced with Sustainable Construction methodology with LEED credentials. Union and non union experience is a strong plus.
Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:
Assist estimating/purchasing department buying subcontract and material vendorsEstablish and foster professional result producing relationships with project engineering and jobsite supervisionCoordinate the materials submittal and shop drawing processDevelop and implement the project scheduleStay current and trained for technology innovations in project managementMake pay application to OwnerApprove subcontractor paymentsRepresent company at meetingsProduce monthly progress status reportsInitiate recovery for extra workNegotiate Owner/Contractor change ordersNegotiate Contractor/Subcontractor change ordersManage the Viewpoint job cost reportInspect the workCommunications with Owner and ArchitectExpedite the punchlistCoordinate project close-outEstablish and coordinate means and methodsSecure approvals and inspections for occupancyCoordinate the protection of persons and propertyProvide cost history information to estimating department
Qualifications:
Bachelor's DegreeExperience in commercial / industrial / institutional constructionProficient in CPM scheduling, preferably P6, BIM, and contract and document management softwareExperienced with Sustainable Construction methodology with LEED credentialsStrong business expertise in project planning and managementStrong verbal, written, and organizational skills
