As an Electrical Systems Engineering Team Lead, you will lead the Electrical Systems Engineering team activities in all project phases from the concept to the validation and warranty phase and development of a well-established and experienced team.Key Activities Further development and management of employees in the Electrical Systems Engineering Team. The team members have an electrical engineering degree or technician background. The Electrical Systems Engineers are responsible for the various electrical systems on the train, consisting of the categories Vehicle Control, Auxiliary Supply, System Integration and Propulsion.Development of unexperienced electrical engineers in terms of technical topics and business skillsCoordination and resource planning of the Electrical Systems Engineering Team for the US projectsCreation and establishing of engineering processes, guidelines and work instructionsEnsuring the cost and schedule compliance for the assigned work packages and initiation of any escalations and resolution actions with various departments within the company and towards suppliersParticipation in supplier negotiations, First Article Inspections and bid projects
Qualifications Completed BS degree in Electrical EngineeringAt least 3 years of experience as an Electrical Systems EngineerExperience in the Railway Industry preferredProven management experience in an engineering team or department is advantageousHigh communication skills in an international working environment
