Shifts & Scheduling: Rotating Shifts 7a-7p / 7p-7a / 8a-5p / 5p-5aSelf-scheduling is allowed, block scheduling can be discussedWeekend Requirement: 2-3 weekends per 6-week scheduleHoliday Requirements: Must be available if neededFloating Requirements: May be asked to float to MS/ICU or OBUnit Specific Information
9 Treatment Spaces + 2 Overflow beds + 2 Triage in ERAverage of 50-60 patients/24 hoursNurse:Patient Ratios 1: 4-5Do not have a dedicated Triage area; Bedside Triage when possibleTraveler may perform triageER holds are in main ERCharge Nurse on each shift, may take patientsCNA/Techs assist with ADLs, stocking, cleaning rooms, EKGsRT in house 6a-6p, on call after hoursNurses review their own telemetry stripsOrientation typically 2.5 daysDress Code: BlackAdditional Details
No in-house security, Local PD utilized if neededCommon drips include Insulin, Diltiazem, Propfol, Fentanyl, HeparinPhysician coverage 24/7, Med Levels 12-hour shiftsNo separate Psych/seclusion roomsX-ray & CT available in the hospitalNurses may need to collect labs with IV starts or phlebotomy
