Product Owner

Job Title: Product Owner Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to lead the development and management of innovative product solutions. This role requires the ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders, create compelling narratives, and ensure cross-functional collaboration for program success. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in business process management and be adept at facilitating new product introductions, supporting System FMEA activities, and continuously improving customer experience and product uptime. Responsibilities Communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders, creating compelling narratives and ensuring cross-functional collaboration for program success. Lead business process management objectives and facilitate new product introductions. Support System FMEA activities and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in customer experience and product uptime. Translate customer needs into projects, estimating resources and tasks for successful realization. Develop a product vision and roadmap for platform capabilities. Build and maintain a prioritization framework based on objective data. Produce concise business case documents, presentations, and product requirements documents (PRD) to enable effective product investment decisions. Manage product requests from customers, sales, partners, and team members. Collaborate with engineers, designers, researchers, product managers, sales, customer success, support, and other team members to understand problems, capture new ideas, and systematically prioritize the most important projects. Lead internal and external customer discovery conversations that influence product decisions. Represent the voice and needs of the customer and translate this to clear requirements for engineering and support teams. Define product-related objectives and key results (OKRs) and communicate related progress internally. Evangelize product strategy internally (e.g., with sales, engineering, and other product organizations) and externally with customers and partners. Own cross-functional interactions for your area of the product including Sales, Customer Success, and Support. Build and maintain cross-divisional partnerships within the company and with external suppliers to optimize product performance and delivery. Manage the resolution of diagnostic and programming issues in collaboration with software development. Essential Skills Product development experience. Experience with Connected Vehicle and Automotive industries. Experience with OEM. Proven track record of overseeing a product from proposal to completion. B.S. Degree. Strong soft skills and communication abilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications B.S. degree required. 8-10 years of relevant experience preferred. Work Environment This role requires on-site presence four days a week and allows one day of remote work. The location can be either Lewisville, TX or Redmond, WA.
