Technical Specialist - IT Information Security

As a technical specialist, you will collaborate with public and private partners to create cutting-edge cybersecurity guidance and reports. This role offers a unique opportunity to network with top security specialists from various organizations within a dynamic public-private intelligence fusion center. Your strong knowledge of OT, utilities, or industrial control systems cybersecurity will be highly valued and essential for this position.ResponsibilitiesCore Responsibilities Responsible for staying up to date on cyber threat intelligence Security clearance, or willingness to pursue security clearance, required Provide expertise to guide threat management strategy Develop CTI awareness, investigation, remediation reports Develop threat hunting packages and track remediations for findings Update CTI metrics and dashboards Work with external CTI stakeholders and provide analysis on industry direction Attend external CTI events This position is 3 days a week on site Must be available 24/7, on call, and/or participate in off-hour emergency response activities as required Provide guidance and training to junior analysts Perform other related tasks and assignments as requiredQualificationsRequired Education/Experience Master's Degree Preferably IT/Cyber/computer science/related and with a minimum of six (6) years of work-related experience. or Bachelor's Degree Preferably IT/Cyber/computer science/related and with a minimum of eight (8) years of work-related experience.Relevant Work Experience Previous cybersecurity experience is required. Required Previous senior level experience with cyber threat intelligence highly preferred Preferred Previous security clearance Preferred Previous utility or OT experience Preferred Expertise in cyber threat intel or related field PreferredSkills And Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.Licenses And Certfications Driver's License Required Other: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc. PreferredPhysical Demands Sit or stand to answer a phone for the duration of the workday Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday Ability to read small print and symbolsAdditional Physical Demands Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers. Must be able and willing to travel, as needed.
