Details Client NameSanford Broadway Clinic Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionRN SpecialtyMS Job ID29411699 Job TitleRN - 2W - Med Surg Weekly Pay$2398.0 Shift Details ShiftDNR - 12X3 - 07,19 Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date12/09/2024 End Date03/10/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotating, Every Other Weekend and Holiday Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical experience required License: Active ND or Compact RN License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) Must-Have: - Experience with EPIC electronic medical records- Experience working in a larger hospital (minimum 200 beds), level 2 or higher trauma center Job Description: - Provide care for general Medical-Surgical patients- Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care- Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and knowledge- Utilize age and population-specific standards appropriate to the clinical setting- Use equipment including EMR-Epic, AccuDose, Bladder Scanner, Phillips monitors, and Telemetry- Follow a schedule of 12-hour shifts with rotations every other weekend and holiday- Be willing to float to other Medical-Surgical units as needed- Participate in unit-specific training and orientation including one day of lead center training and two 12-hour shifts on the unit with a preceptor- Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5:1 during day shifts and 6:1 during night shifts- Adhere to dress code requiring navy blue scrubs Comments: - This is a new Medical-Surgical unit- Cannot accept candidates living within 60 miles of the facility. Applicants residing 61 to 80 miles away may be considered at a local rate.
