3 full years of experienceExperience with open heartsExperience recovering fresh hearts directly from the OR within the last 6 monthsSchedule Information
Contract length: 13 weeksShifts: 12 hours, 7 am - 7:30 pmEvery other weekend2 out of 3 major holidays, others as needed & would fall into perm staff rotationTime off requests to be requested prior to contract, requests after assignment starts will need to be approved by manager when making the scheduleBlock scheduling is not guaranteed, but may be allowed if it works with the scheduleFloating may occur to other ICUs or to ER for inpatient ICU holdsUnit Specific Information
1 to 1 or 1 to 2 patient ratiosCharge Nurse available 24/7Must have general medical & surgical ICU experience in addition to CVICU experienceCommon diagnosis/Types of patients: TAVR, Impella, IABP, Lumbar drains, Swanz, manual hemo experience preferred. STEMI, AAA, Hypothermia, sepsis, any MedSurg ICU patient, but more focused on CV & CT patientsAdditional Details
