As a Licensed Call Center Pharmacist, you will follow all state and federal regulations and support local pharmacy operations via off site support by completion of pharmacist tasks.Job Description

Experience Required: 0 to 6 monthsExperience Desired: NoneEducation Required: Bachelors DegreeCertification or Licensing Required: Pharmacy; Immunization certification/license as required by stateLifting Requirement: Up to 25 poundsTravel Required: NoneAge Requirement: At least 18 years of ageJob ResponsibilityOperate as a pharmacist in offsite location to support retail stores in daily operations. Follow all Company policies and procedures to maximize quality/outcomes.Work with physicians and nurses to secure clarifications and new prescriptions. This includes scanning new orders/clarifications into the Rx system for processing.Verify prescriptions for accuracy (Data verification) and complete DUR review of prescriptions.Complete incoming/outgoing prescription transfers.Communicate with and counsel patients over the phone.Assist technicians in interpretation of prescriptions and third party billing.Maintain production metrics and operational goals.Attend and participate in quarterly CQI meetings.

Giant Eagle Pharmacy’s Central Fill facility is also located in Freedom, PA.
