Under the direction of the Chief Technology Officer, the Computer Technician Assistant performs skilled work in theinstallation, maintenance, and repair of District technology equipment to prevent interruption of service. Providestechnical support to district technology users.
-Knowledge of tools, equipment, practices and methods of installing, maintaining, repairing and adjusting of computer hardware and peripheral devices.-Knowledge of computer operating systems and the networking environment.-An understanding of networking (IP Addressing, DHCP, DNS, and basic network troubleshooting).
Requirements / Qualifications
-Education: High School diploma or equivalent.-Valid California driver's license.-Required Fingerprinting and TB Clearance.
