Senior IAM Cybersecurity Analyst

This role offers a hybrid work schedule; offering the flexibility to work remotely two days a week, while providing the opportunity for in-person collaboration at our Buffalo, NY Tech Hub. Overview : Seeking a highly skilled and experience analyst to join our growing WIAM Governance team. In this role, you will focus on assessing applications for centralized IAM controls, identifying risk areas, and providing actionable solutions. You will play a key role building a seamless integration of existing forms into ServiceNow. This role functions with a high level of autonomy, leveraging team peer connections and support from more senior members of the WIAM team as required. Primary Responsibilities: Evaluate applications across the organization to ensure they adhere to centralized IAM controls and policies. Identify gaps and work with relevant teams to bring these applications into compliance. Conduct risk assessments of decentralized applications and document remediation plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that address identified risk areas. Provide expert guidance on best practices for mitigating IAM risks. Lead the effort to transition SailPoint access request forms and workflows to ServiceNow. Facilitate the workflow process mapping of access requests to ensure full coverage on new tool. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of IAM requirements and compliance expectations. Other duties as assigned. ? Education and Experience Required: Minimum of 8 years higher education and/or work experience Prior experience reading and digesting technical information Strong written and verbal communication skills Prior experience interpreting and/or discussing terminology or concepts not familiar to many people with others Strong customer focus, including ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities Prior project management experience Education and Experience Preferred: Bachelors degree in technology-related field Certifications or special training in related technologies Prior experience leading technical teams toward a common goal or project within a larger project LI-JB3 Hybrid M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $85,104.04 - $141,840.07 Annual (USD).
