Details Client NameFrankfort Regional Medical Center - HP Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionRN SpecialtyMS Job ID29487897 Job TitleTRAVEL- RN - MED SURG - CC 610 - 7:00PM - 7:00AM Weekly Pay$1840.0 Shift Details ShiftNight - 12x3 - 07PM Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date12/15/2024 End Date03/16/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum of 2 years in medical-surgical nursing License: Active nursing license in good standing (with compact if applicable) Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) required - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred - Current NIH certification (must be renewed annually) Must-Have: - General medical-surgical skills - Telemetry experience - Post-Percutaneous Coronary Intervention experience - EKG interpretation skills - CPAP management - Port access Job Description: - Work in a 46-bed unit with a patient ratio of 6:1- Collaborate with a team that includes Clinical Nurse Coordinators, RNs, LPNs, PCTs, Nurse Externs, and Unit Clerks- Utilize equipment such as GE Apex Pro Telemetry boxes, Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, Baxter IV pumps, iMobile, Alaris PCA IV pump, Welch Allen Vitals machine, and Glucometers- Document using the Meditech Expanse system- Operate under scheduling requirements of three 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend commitment- May float to a post-surgical med-surg unit or to a Progressive Care Unit as needed- Preferred advanced skills include experience with chest tubes, NG tubes, wound care with vac, drains, post-dialysis assessments, central lines, and blood transfusions- Perform unit procedures like telemetry monitoring and paracentesis- Wear navy blue or gray scrubs, with allowances for any color or patterned scrub jacket and undershirts, excluding royal blue scrubs- Participate in a supportive environment with opportunities for feedback and communication through tools such as GroupMe- Engage in patient and staff recognition programs and receive support from dedicated leadership and clinical educatorsThe facility emphasizes a Patients First philosophy, focusing on patient care practices and new technology, with a keen priority on patient safety.
